With over 25 years of nursing experience, Kim is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner first graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center then further underlining her commitment to her field, earning a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Kim began her nurse practitioner role in primary care but became increasingly unfulfilled with a healthcare system that often prioritized treating symptoms rather than addressing root causes. 

This was further compounded by insurance companies dictating patient care, often at odds with what Kim knew to be the best for her patients. This realization propelled Kim to focus on a more holistic approach, where her expertise in hormone replacement therapy could be used to treat underlying issues, not just symptoms.
